Johnny Turk, a.k.a. Ahmet Erispaha, has found a way to integrate three career tracks — Information Technology, music performance, and teaching — into his work life. As a Senior Production Support Analyst at a leading financial institution, Ahmet (Johnny Turk's mild-mannered alter ego) coordinates software issue resolution efforts with customers, business analysts, and developers.

In his spare time, he straps on his six-string Taylor guitar and entertains audiences in local pubs and restaurants. But that's not all - he also designs and develops Web Sites for a select few clients, and still finds time to share what he’s learned about music by offering private lessons to a handful of guitar, bass, and voice students.

As a Senior Computer Programming instructor and Evening Education Manager at the Chubb Institute in the early 2000s, Johnny Turk developed the skills and experience to plan effective lessons and present information to students in coherent, meaningful, and creative ways.

The organizational skills he developed in this position, his rich experience as a guitarist, bassist, and lead vocalist in numerous bands and solo projects over the last 40 years, and his passion for teaching and performing make him a highly effective and inspiring teacher.
